I am a psychotherapist in private practice in West Los Angeles, CA., who specializes in helping individuals and families navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes of living with chronic illness. If you are feeling alone, confused or scared by a recent diagnosis, you are not alone. I will help you build a healthy mind-set in the midst of chronic illness as you learn to be an advocate for your well-being. As a woman who has lived with a chronic illness for over thirty years, I bring my professional as well as my personal life experience to my work. I provide a safe setting for exploration and insight to occur. I use cognitive therapy along with expressive art and mind-body techniques to help clients discover solutions to problems, gain a deeper understanding and awareness of their pain while building a healthy relationship with themselves. Through non-verbal and verbal techniques, clients explore and gain insight into the issues that block them from moving forward in their lives and living the life they want to live.
I work with women of all ages helping them build a loving and accepting relationship with themselves whether single or with a partner.
When working with children, I tap into my playful spirit to allow them to feel safe and accepted while engaging in play and art therapy.
I can be reached at 310-922-3957.
